TSSA: Technical Standards & Safety Authority

The TSSA administers and enforces technical standards in the province of Ontario.  It delivers public safety services in four key sectors: boilers and pressure vessels; elevating devices, amusement devices and ski lifts; fuels; and upholstered and stuffed articles.  Incidents involving any of these sectors are required to be reported to the TSSA at 1-877-682-8772 or the Spills Action Centre at 1-800-268-6060.

OIAA: Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association

The OIAA is a non-profit group connecting insurance adjusters across Ontario.  Its goals include promoting and maintaining a high standard of ethics amongst insurance claims professionals, and dealing with issues affecting the business of insurance claims adjusting as a whole.

ESA: Electrical Safety Authority

The ESA is a safety regulator and advocate for public electrical safety in the province of Ontario.  It is responsible for four regulations, including the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, and ensuring compliance with those regulations.  Serious electrical incidents must be reported to the ESA at 1-877-ESA-SAFE.
